So…….Gavin’s bill passed through Judiciary full committee today but completely rewritten. I am more excited about this than the previous bill. This is the creation of going to multiple people from multiple parties and different views. This is the way politics should be. My proposal might have had some hiccups the way it was written previously. The new version came from honest discussion from all views and the common goal……protecting our kids. I Love the fact that we added schools will be required to inform parents and students about the bill. That is more than half the battle. It will come to the floor tomorrow which I will delay to hear until Next Wednesday. Anyone that wishes to support, please show up at the statehouse at 10am. I will speak from the well on the bill at that time. 10am on Wednesday April 26th
